Consultant profile:Andreas Günkel Andreas Günkel (born 1968) studied business administration at the University of Giessen, focusing on auditing, taxation, business organization and leadership. He obtained the degree of Diplom-Kaufmann (German Master of Business Administration degree). Thereafter Mr. Günkel joined KPMG Germany and KPMG Canada as a consultant in the area of auditing and advisory services for medium-sized companies in various industries. Afterwards he worked for several years in the field of mergers & acquisitions at KPMG Germany and supported a multitude of corporate transactions. In 2003 he moved to the logistics sector and developed and managed the controlling, finance and accounting division at one of the TOP50 - logistics service providers in Germany for about six years. Since mid 2009 Andreas Günkel is partner of Elmar Hertzog und Partner Management Consultants GmbH and operates in the fields of Management consulting with a focus on controlling, organizational and process analysis, as well as restructuring Mergers & acquisitions.
