Armin Haug

Armin Haug (born 1947) studied business management at the university of Cologne, specialising in industrial management and transport sciences. As a qualified businessman, he joined the family business of G. Haug, running this medium-sized haulage business as Managing Director and partner until 1988.

This was followed by management responsibilities as Regional Manager South for the firms of Danzas and Schenker, before Mr. Haug joined Hertzog & Partner in 1997 as a partner and Branch Manager in the newly opened Stuttgart office. His responsibilities include

personnel and company consultation in the South region, focussing on Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria
looking after companies in the field of transport, logistics services, trade and industry on all questions involving personnel recruitment, management consultation and mergers & acquisitions
assistance to candidates looking for a new professional challenge in the field of logistics and transport

Mr. Haug has been a member of the IHK Transport Committee in Stuttgart and of the BVL Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. (German Association of Logistics) as well as a commercial judge of the District Court. Since 1984 he has been involved with the Stuttgart Schlossgarten Lions Club.
