Albert Klamert
 Albert Klamert (born 1951) is an Austrian by birth and a qualified logistics manager. He acquired his first professional experience in a large international forwarding company in Salzburg, after which he completed a year of practical training in Zurich.
Mr. Klamerts first taste of management was with an international forwarding group in Munich, where he worked for eight years. He took on managerial roles with the same company in Vienna and Linz for eight more years. Mr. Klamerts duties from 1994 to 2008 were as follows:
Local manager of one of the largest forwarding companies in Austria in charge of up to 300 employees
In 1999 first post as manager with a major international group of companies, with a workforce of several hundred in Austria
In 2001 headed the Eastern Europe organisation of a U.S. logistics group focusing on air and sea freight as well as supply chain management. Set up the groups own companies in Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
Latterly the successful Eastern European start-up for the first Chinese forwarding and logistics company in Europe.
Since April 1st, 2008 Mr. Klamert has been the Managing Partner of the Austrian firm Elmar Hertzog und Partner Management Consultants GmbH based in Vienna, of which he is a co-founder.
In addition Mr. Klamert has a long track record in the following honorary functions:
Duties in the Linz and Vienna Chambers of Commerce
Expert lay judge at the Linz Labour and Social Court
Lecturer in adult education
Examiner for the logistics manager training qualification
Member of directors board of Swiss-Austrian Chamber of Commerce
